Sindh Memon Itahad (SMI) was established as an initiative by the late Haji Abdul Razaque Memon from Matiari. His vision was to bring together the Memon community and other communities across the province of Sindh under one unified platform. With his dedication, Haji Abdul Razaque built the foundation of this Itahad at the provincial level, fostering unity and collaboration for the betterment of society.
The Itahad operates with a well-structured system comprising a Central Executive Body, as well as District and Tehsil bodies, ensuring that its initiatives reach all levels of society. These bodies work collaboratively to address the health, education, social welfare, and development needs of not only the Memon community but all communities and the nation as a whole.
After the passing of the honorable founder, the leadership baton was passed to his son, Haji Abdul Shakoor Memon. As the current chairman, Haji Abdul Shakoor is committed to following in his father’s footsteps, upholding the same principles, rules, and regulations set by his father. Under his leadership, Sindh Memon Itahad continues to strive towards promoting community welfare, offering support, and improving the lives of individuals across the province.
SMI remains committed to carrying forward the legacy of its founder by expanding its outreach, strengthening its community services, and fostering a sense of unity and support among the people of Sindh. The organization's efforts encompass various sectors, including healthcare, education, social welfare, and charitable projects, ensuring that it remains a beacon of hope and support for the underprivileged and marginalized.
With a mission to serve humanity, Sindh Memon Itahad stands as a symbol of dedication, compassion, and community solidarity.
